Puppy Daycare Rules

1. All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 18 months. If they are problematic it may be required sooner to ensure the safety of all puppy day care dogs and employees.

2. Play Safe collars are required for all dogs attending Puppy Daycare. These can be purchased at our front desk and an identification method has been established to assure safe keeping.

3. Owl Creek patients: All shots must be up to date or being scheduled to be administered by our veterinarians/technicians at the time they are due. The dogs will not be allowed in puppy day care if they are not protected by vaccines to avoid any outbreak of disease amongst other dogs.

4. Other Veterinarian patients: All shots must be up to date with proof of vaccination provided at front desk prior to entering day care. The dogs will not be allowed in puppy day care if they are not protected by vaccines to avoid any outbreak of disease amongst other dogs.

5. A negative annual fecal test is required. If the test is positive, proof of treatment must be provided. If you attend another veterinary clinic, a negative fecal test result must be provided and kept on file.

6. All dogs attending Puppy Daycare are required to be on flea and tick preventatives to avoid an outbreak. Periodic screening for fleas will be done and proof may be required if positive for fleas.

7. From this point, payment in full is required at the end of each week or the last day your dog attends daycare that week. We will be willing to work with existing balances, but you must contact management to discuss payment arrangement.

8. Three Strike Rule (Strike consists of either drawing blood or starting 2 incidents in one month)

a. Strike 1 — Notify Owner

b. Strike 2 — Notify Owner and require completion of obedience training prior to return to Puppy Daycare

c. Strike 3 — Notify owner and expel dog from Puppy Daycare

d. Reevaluation is allowed if the dog has completed further training or has been worked with by a dog behaviorist.

e. Probationary period is required. time limit determined by situation.
