Dr. Ann Ayre:
Dr. Ayre has been with Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital since November 2000. She has been the hospitals Managing Veterinarian since June 2001. Dr. Ayre is originally from Toronto, Ontario and graduated with honors from the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College in 1993. Dr. Ayre worked in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia from 1993 until 1999. Dr. Ayre has a special interest in animal dentistry, and has taken courses in advanced dental care and surgery. She has an english springer spaniel, Maggie , a golden retriever, Jake, and a appaloosa horse, Johnny Appleseed. Away from the clinic Dr. Ayre enjoys spending time with her husband Todd and their four girls, Sarah, Emma, Madelyn, and Kate.
Dr. Karen Hauer:
Dr. Hauer has been with Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital since June 2004. She is originally from York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hauer graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2004. She also received a B.S. in Agriculture and Life Sciences with a major in biochemistry and molecular biology from Mississippi State University in 2001. Dr. Hauer has a special interest in animal behavior and enjoys taking her own dogs to obedience classes. She has a labrador retriever, Knox, a golden retriever, Jerry and cat, Ansel. In her free time, Dr. Hauer enjoys hiking, kayaking, photography, traveling, and spending time with her animals.
