Lynne

Lyn Peacock - Hospital Administrator

Lyn, our Hospital Administrator, was born in Milwaukee, WI. She has worked at Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital for 4 years. She enjoys working at Owl creek because she loves the compassion of the Veterinarians and staff, along with the friendliness of the clients and, of course…the pets! She states that Owl Creek takes pride in offering service excellence in every way. She loves to cook, read, garden, and swim and travel.  Lyn is the proud owner of a Golden Retrievers, a Great Dane/Mastiff, a Golden Retriever mix, and a cat and kitten. She enjoys the fact that the Veterinarians and staff are friendly and compassionate about all they do. When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don’t have, she replied that “the service excellence is outstanding, along with the open door policy and abundance of state of the art services offered such as pain management, anesthesia monitoring, laser, and doggie treadmill. In addition, each and every staff member truly loves what they do and it shows on a daily basis”.

Michele

Michele Wieting - Front Office Supervisor

Michele, the Office Manager/Receptionist, was born in Norfolk, VA. She has worked at Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital for 12 years. She enjoys working at Owl creek because she loves animals and enjoys seeing and playing with the pets, along with helping the clients. She loves to read, play games, draw, and cross-stitch. Michele is the proud owner of 3 cats and 3 Daschunds. She loves meeting, talking, and learning about new people and their families. She strongly feels that our clients are a big extended family! When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don’t have, she replied that “Owl Creek offers exceptional customer service and we treat each pet as if they are our own pet. We offer house calls and allow access to all parts of our building during all services.”

Dominique

Dominique Christian – Client Service Representative

Dominique is one of our Client Service Representatives. She was born in Plantation, FL. She joined Owl Creek in January of this year. She says she enjoys working with our team at Owl Creek because it puts her in the animal realm. She can also continue to help clients and learn about the animal industry. Dominique loves her 3 dogs; Link: a Shib Inu, Zena: a Thai Ridgeback, and Batman: a pit-bull mix. She enjoys dog training and is currently working on her certification to train aggressive dogs. When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals do not have, she said that “Owl Creek has been in business for years and that says a lot about a business when we see the patient from babies to full grown to white on their furry faces.” Dominique loves the idea that Owl Creek does not over-vaccinate patients.

Barbara

Barbara- Licensed Veterinary Technician

Barbara was born in Norfolk, VA. She joined Owl Creek as a Licensed Veterinary Technician a year and half ago. She enjoys working at Owl creek because the medicine practiced at Owl Creek is exceptional and up to date.  The staff works so well together as a team to provide care to their patients.  She loves participating in a variety of canine sports with her dogs, including conformation shows, obedience, agility, flyball, and dock diving.   She is the proud owner of three flat coated retrievers, one walker hound, and two kittens.  Barbara  loves Owl Creek because “Owl Creek is truly a full service veterinary hospital offering exceptional patient care through conventional medicine, holistic care, or referral to specialty practices as needed”. 

Rebecca

Rebecca Bonneville - Assistant

Rebecca, our Veterinary Assistant, was born in Edmonds, Washington State. She has worked at Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital for 6 years. She enjoys working at Owl creek because she loves meeting clients and their pets and helping with their veterinary care. She loves to read, and learn the genealogy of her family. Rebecca is the proud owner of a 2 Chihuahuas, 1 Guinea Pig, and 3 cats. When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don’t have, she replied that “Owl Creek offers a family, friendly environment. Clients are allowed to stay with their pets at all times”.

Nicole - Veterinary Assistant

 Nicole was born in Virginia Beach, VA.  She has been a Veterinary Assistant at Owl Creek for a year and is currently going to school and will soon complete her training to become a Licensed Vet Tech. She enjoys working at Owl Creek because “the staff and doctors are great- everyone is a joy to work with”.    She enjoys video games, Marvel movies, and taking her dogs for walks on the beach. She is the proud owner of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Eddie and a beta fish named Dante.  Nicole loves Owl Creek because “I enjoy how hands-on and caring Owl Creek is”.  When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don’t have, she stated, “Owl Creek has a great open-door policy.  They are very p front about everything and strive to provide the best care for the pets”.

Leslie

Leslie Leffler – Veterinary Assistant

Leslie, our Veterinary Assistant, was born in York, Pennsylvania. She has worked at Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital since December. She enjoys working at Owl creek because she loves the fast paced atmosphere and patient focused care that is given to all patients. Leslie is the proud owner of a 2 dogs, Josie a Labrador and Roxie a Pekingese. She enjoys the fact that the Veterinarians and staff are friendly. When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don’t have, she replied that “the open door policy along with the doctors and staff’s exceptional level of client education with each visit ”.

Lisa

Lisa – Kennel Supervisor

Although Lisa, our new Kennel Supervisor, was born in Chia-Yi, Taiwan, she calls Charleston, SC her hometown.  She loves being on Team Owl Creek because the doctors and staff here has been integral in keeping the furry members of her family happy and healthy through superior preventative care and proper treatment when needed; this team has even saved the life of her 10 year old lab/golden mix L.T. a few times.  Along with L.T., Lisa has a menagerie of other pets in her family including Tucker, the Shetland Sheepdog, 4 rescue cats named Lady, Mr. Darcy, Emmy, and Robin, 2 rescue gerbils named Flynn and Prvenza, and 3 bettas named Arthur, Mera, and Marius.  When she has the spare time, she loves acting, drawing, horseback riding, reading, pet training, volunteering with her therapy dogs, and writing.  But, to her, there is nothing like coming to work meeting our wonderful pet parents and directly working with and spoiling the amazing pets that come to see her at our boarding and daycare.  As a client of Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital, Lisa believes that our facility has the best doctors and staff in the area who are not only knowledgeable about the latest veterinary science, but they take the time to explain all the questions clients may have about their pets to ensure that pet parents make the best and most informed decisions for their pets.

Ryan - Daycare / Kennel Attendant

Ryan, our Kennel/ Puppy Day Care Attendant, was born in North Carolina. She has worked at Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital for 3 years. She enjoys working at Owl creek because she says there is an overwhelming love for the animals. She states she enjoys the fact that our clients view their animal companions as more than just pets, but also as a family member. She loves to read, write, volunteer and horseback ride. Ryan is the proud owner of a Mastiff named Mona Lisa. When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don’t have, she replied that “Owl Creek works as a team. We all strive to complete a common goal, which is to give each of our guests the best experience possible while visiting us. We also offer an array of activities such as daycare, swimming, and training to keep pet guests happy and healthy”.

Kimberly Hinkle - Groomer

Kimberly, our Groomer, was born in Lafayette, LA.  She has worked at Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital for 2 years.  She enjoys working at Owl Creek because she has always enjoyed working with animals.  She loves to go to work on her saltwater aquarium in her spare time.  Kimberly is the proud owner of 2 dogs, Tinkerbell and Bozley.  When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don't have, she replied that "the people are great!"

Alexis Rhodes- Kennel Assistant

Alexis, one of our newest Kennel Assistants, was born in Woodbridge, VA. She has just started working at Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital. She enjoys working at Owl creek because she loves being a part of a team that is dedicated to providing the absolute best care for our client’s pets. Alexis is the proud owner of a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Lily and a beta fish named Calvin. Alexis loves going to the beach, reading, fishing, and watching hockey (GO STARS!!). She enjoys the friendliness and, of course, the pets at Owl Creek. When asked what Owl Creek has to offer that other hospitals don’t have, she replied the open door policy, which allows our clients to be at ease when they are able to be with their pet during every step of their exceptional care. She says this is like no other veterinary hospital. She also likes the puppy day care pool. The dogs love it!
